Viman Nagar,Pune

Viman Nagar is the area in the Pune city which got it's name from the Air Port located next to it.The area comes under the jurisdiction of Pune Municiple Corporation which is based in the east corridor of Pune city,which is about half kilometer from Pune International Airport and about 6 kilometer from Pune Railway Station. Viman Nagar is an upcoming cosmopolitan neighborhood that is developing rapidly. A decade ago ,Viman nagar was small area which includes only Indian Air-force residential quarters but now it becomes very large area having two large IT hubs in the area.

In the past,residents in this area have to travel into the town to get anything besides the basic needs but today the area has shops for every need.A mall is already opened in the area.
