Mahabaleshwar is a popular hill station located in Sahyadri range of Indian state of Maharashtra. This hill station is called as Queen of Hill stations which was once the capital of Bombay Presidency during the British Raj.

· Arthur’s Seat – This point got its name from Sir Arthur Mallet who was the first person came here and it is said that he lost his wife and daughter on this point. From here you can experience the beauty of nature.
· Bombay Point – Bombay point is also known as sunset point from where you can see the beautiful sunset clearly and many tourists gather at the time of sunset to this point. This point got its name because it is situated on old Bombay road.
· Kate’s Point – This point is famous for its two reservoirs Balakwadi and Dhom which is located to the east of Mahabaleshwar. The point got its name from Sir James malcom’s daughter Kate and this point is around 1280 m high.
· Wilson Point – Wilson point is the highest point in the Mahabaleshwar which is 1439 mts high. This point is named after Sir Leslie Wilson and from here you can see both sunrise and sunset. It offers a spectacular glance of Mahabaleshwar in all directions.

The nearest major city to Mahabaleshwar is Satara district about 55 km from here and 210 km from Pune city. The nearest railway station is also Satara from where you can reach by bus to Mahabaleshwar. Private cars and cabs can also be hired to reach.
