  1. Nice post on Nashik. The holy city on the banks of river Godavri, it plays host to the pious Hindu Kumbha Mela every 12 years. Famous for its involvement in the Indian independence struggle, it is now the wine hub of the country. Also known for its proximity to the spiritual town of Shirdi. Owing its name to the Ramayana epic, Nasik is believed to be the site of Lord Ram, his wife Sita and his brother Lakshmana's 14 year long exile. Check out all best hotels in Nashik also.
