Jubilee Hills, one of the most expensive residential locations in India



Jubilee Hills is the suburban region in the neighborhood of Hyderabad city. This region is sandwiched between the prestigious and wealthy commercial area Banjara Hills and the It hub of Hyderabad HITEC City.  This region is one of the most expensive areas of Hyderabad and in India also. This part of Hyderabad is the prestigious and rich area.
Jublilee Hills was palnned and designed by Padma Shri Award Winner Challgalla Narsimhan, his family was the first to built and occupy the house in Jubilee Hills. This region is home to Telugu Film Industry as Annapurna Studios, Padmalaya Studios and Ramanaidu Studios are located in Jubilee Hills. This region of Hyderabad is home to number of Telugu actors, political leaders and business tycoons and many famous personalities Chief Minister of Hyderabad Chandrababu Naidu also have their residence in this region. Jubilee hills is political heart of Hyderabad as there are number political parties headquarters are located here.

Landmarks of Jubilee Hills

·         Pedamma Temple -  Pedamma temple is one of the most popular and blessed temple in Hyderabad. The temple is dedicated to the presiding deity Goddess Shakti. The temple is located on road number 55 in Jubilee hills which becomes vibrant during Bonaalu Festival in the month of Jun- July. The temple is visited by hundreds of devotees every day.

·         Durgam Chevuru – Durgam chevuru is situated behind Jubilee hills region near HITEC City and Shilparaman Crafts village. Andhra Pradesh Government permits boating in Durgam Chevuru Lake which is fully surrounded by Deccan plateau.  This lake is visited by number of tourists and it is one of the tourist’s attractions.
·         Kasu Brahmananda Reddy National Park – This national park is situated in Jubilee hills region of Hyderabad which his described as jungle amidst the concrete jungle. The park provides excellent space from the busy city life and rising pollutant levels. This park consists of over 600 species of plant life, 140 species of birds and many species of reptiles. The park is visited in the evenings and during weekends by youngsters and senior citizens.
·         Chiran Palace – Chiran palace is like other palaces of Hyderabad built to meet the needs of prince Nizam. It was built in 1960in 400 acres of land and this palace was gifted to Prince Mukarram Jah by his father. This is built in villa style of architecture not in the traditional sense. The palace is duplex having a big cellar where the prince had his billiard rooms along with the conference hall.  

Transport Facilities

Buses runs by APSRTC are well connected to Jubilee hill area. There are number of buses available after every hour to and from Jubilee hill region. Taxis and auto rikshaws are also available in this region. But jubilee hill area is the region of rich and affluent people and hence most of the peoples prefer their personal cars and vehicles. If you wish to see Audi, Mercedes, these kinds of brand vehicles then Jubilee Hill is the area where you can see this. The closest railway station is the MMTs station in HITEC City but this facility is not preferred by many people and Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport to Jubilee Hills.

Accommodation Facility

Jubilee Hills region is the posh and prestigious area of Hyderabad where many familiar faces live. This region is the most expensive region of Hyderabad and therefore the prices of Hotels in Jubilee Hills are also bit expensive as compared to the other parts of the city. There are mostly luxury hotels, as this area is home to many political members and this is one of the important commercial areas therefore business travelers prefer to stay in Jubilee Hills. Budget hotels are available nearby jubilee hills area providing good facilities to their guests.

As Jubilee Hill region is home to number of political members and many Telugu celebrities have their residence here, hence this region is the most popular and important in Hyderabad city. If you are visiting Hyderabad then must visit Jubilee Hills region.
