Bangalore, the capital of Indian state of Karnataka which is third largest city in terms of population and a well known city as hub for India’s information technology sector. Earlier this city was known as Garden city or Pensioner’s city but today with the development and as it is the major centre for India’s IT hub it is known as Silicon Valley of India.
Bangalore was voted as most livable city in India beating its sister cities such as Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi and Kolkata. Bangalore is home to many recognized software companies such as IBM, Microsoft, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Blue Star Infotech, Tata Consultancy Services and many more local as well as multinational companies. There are many tourists’ attractions in this city and it is one of the tourist’s favorite destinations in South India.

·         Bangalore Palace – This palace was built by Maharaja of Mysore. This palace is one of the favorite tourist’s attractions as many tourists visit this palace. The palace construction was started in 1862 and completed in 1944. The palace ground is famous in the city for public events such as music concerts.
·         Wonderla – Wonderla is an amusement park located about 28 kilometers from the Bangalore city which is built in 82 acres of land. This amusement park is very popular in the city and especially among the children’s as it is having number of playing games for children’s and for adults also. This park includes Water Park and amusement park.

·         Lalbagh – Lalbagh is a botanical park located in the southern part of Bangalore city. Lalbagh literally means that Red Garden in English. This garden is based on the design of Mughal Gardens and it consists of over thousand varieties of plant species and many of them are from foreign. Lalbagh consists a glass house that is used for annual flower show.

·         Bull Temple – This temple is a typical Dravidian style of temple located in Basavangudi. The temple is famous for its mammoth Bull statue that is carved from the single boulder. Many tourists visit this temple and the bull temple is very famous in Bangalore city.
·         Bannerghatta National Park – This is a botanical park which is located 22 kilometers south of Bangalore. The hilly region of this park Is home to many wild animals that includes Tigers, white tigers and lions. The country’s first butterfly park was established in this park.
There are lots of places to visit here and many of them give you amazing experiences. Bangalore city is one of the beautiful cities in India.

How to Reach?

Bangalore is served by Bangaluru International Airport and is the fourth busiest airport in the country. The airport is around 40 km from the city centre and you can take taxis or auto rikshaws to reach city. Bangalore City Railway Station is the main railway station of the city and rapid transit system is the station used for local trains to travel within the city. Buses run by Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation are well connected to this city and to the nearby areas of the city. There are many buses available that connects this city to the rest parts of the state. Taxis and rikshaws are also available in the city for travelling nearby.

Bangalore, apart from being an IT hub of India this city is also the cultural city of Karnataka. There are many places that are very famous among the tourists and they are worth to visit. There are number of hotels and lodges present in every area of the city but most of the tourists prefer hotels near transportation mediums and near tourist’s destination.
