Bangalore, earlier called as garden city which is developed so much that today it is known as Silicon Valley of India. The city which was once known for its beauty, culture, monuments and palaces, today known for its rapid industrialization and modernization. Bangalore, the capital of IT industry in India believes that the three epicenter points of the city are Commercial streets, MG Road and Brigade Road.
MG Road is an abbreviation of Mahatma Gandhi Road that runs east from Trinity Circle to Anil Kumble Circle at another end. This road was known to be South Parade in pre-independence era today is one of the busiest roads in Bangalore. There are number of shops, restaurants, retail stores, food outlets and many more. This road is home to many buildings and banks, also consists of many theatres, buildings, shops, offices and schools.
Many Indian Cities have Mahatma Gandhi Road but there is no linkage between them but, this is the busiest road in every city. This famous MG Road which is lined with trees is reconstructed after construction of the MG Road metro Station. The metro train that runs through MG road connects east part of the Bangalore city with the west.
The famous Public Utility Building which is also known Subhas Chandra Bose Tower is situated on MG Road. This is skyscraper building which is famous in Bangalore. This building overlooks from the top floor of this building the scenic beauty of the entire Bangalore City. This building is the tallest building having 25 levels and is a major commercial centre and all in one shopping complex that houses much business and commercial centre that includes shops, offices, boutiques, hotels and restaurants.
There are number of good hotels situated on MG Road. Hotels in Bangalore near MG Road mostly include variety of hotels from budget to five star providing world class services. There are many hotels that provides excellent facility to their guests such as 24 hours room service, internet facility, cafeteria, restaurants and some of them also provide transport facility for their guests.
Mahatma Gandhi Road in Bangalore is one of the up market and busiest road and the road is important and among the epicenter point of the city.
