VIman Nagar, Pune

Viman Nagar is an area in eastern corridor of Pune which is about half kilometer from Pune International Airport and also got its name from the Air Force station next to this colony as in Hindi Viman means Aircraft. This area is an upcoming cosmopolitan neighborhood which is developing rapidly.

Viman Nagar has a beautiful garden where people usually come regularly in the morning and in the evening for jogging and relaxing. Giga Field and Weikfield IT city are the two large IT parks located in this region also boasts number of star hotels including Hyatt, Sheraton and Jukaso INN. A decade ago, Viman Nagar area was considered to be on the outskirts of the city and was considered largely undeveloped and ignored part of Pune with only few buildings and Indian residential quarters, but today, this suburb has transformed into an IT hub and one of the most affluent area of the city.
